Gordon Hempton, Co-Founder & CEO
In terms of technology, Gordon considers himself a "Renaissance Man", being an expert in both user experience and backend infrastructure.
Prior to forming Team Apart, Gordon was working at Microsoft on SQL Server in the data replication group. Gordon graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle with a B.S. in Computer Science and Mathematics.

Wesley Hather, Co-Founder & CTO
Wes dabbles in all areas of Team Apart but enjoys focusing on the front-end. Usability and design is his speciality.
Before Team Apart, Wes was a game developer at Flying Lab Software working on Pirates of the Burning Sea. Wes graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle, with a B.S. in Computer Science and also completed the University of Washington Game Development Certification program.
When Wes is not coding, he likes staying fit with hot yoga. He also loves to travel and is constantly looking to explore new things.
Ben Porterfield
Ben started programming in BASIC at age 8 and has been pretty much in love with computers ever since. He helps Team Apart deliver the goods on the front end, and generally tries to help out in every way that he can.
In the past, Ben has worked with numerous startups in and around Silicon Valley, in both engineering and marketing/product roles. He was the Lead Developer Sticky, Inc. before its acquisition, and helped start 12seconds.tv before joining Team Apart. He graduated from UNC Chapel Hill with a degree in Computer Science.
Ben grew up in the great state of North Carolina and is an avid surfer. When the waves are flat, he spends time away from the computer mountain biking, jamming on the bass or playing blitz chess.
